Amazing how well my hubby can cook up a steak and top that off with being in a GRIDDLER!
In the home of Aunt B. there's always somethin' cookin' may not be handmade by Aunt B. herself but still very much worth reading and writing about. So stop by often! Do you have a recipe To recommend for my family? Leave me a comment I am up for the challenge!

Valentines Day Sugar Cookies
My daughter and I decided after our attempt at glazing Christmas cookies, we would try to get more practice through out the year. First up, Valentines. After making the dough, I let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. The following day we cut it in half with a sharp knife placing one half back in refrigerator. We rolled dough to about a 1/2 inch thick may be a little less but not much, we were going for a thicker sugar cookie like we could buy at Eileen’s a local cookie shoppe. This recipe has a little nutmeg , personally I couldn’t tell. For me, this was not a right from the oven snack, it didn’t have the taste or texture until it cooled. The icing I think really made the cookie.
We used a glazed icing recipe I will post links to both recipes below.
