On the seventh Day of Christmas...

I made white chocolate iced rice krispy treats! I wanted to drizzle red chocolate across the tops but I apparently am not experienced enough yet to know the proper food coloring to use for such a task and ruined the rest of the chocolate...lol! Oh well, they will taste just fine like this. 

On the sixth day of Christmas...

I made a childhood favorite of mine, No Bake Cookies! They are so quick and easy. A great little sweet treat for kids to make and enjoy. 

On the fifth Day of Christmas...

Grandma’s Lemon Meringue pie is so divine. This is the second time I have ever made it, and I am so pleased with how my meringue came out on this second attempt. However, I think it would be better with a Graham Cracker crust. Not because I might have over beat my home made crust and it came out sandy, and dry. I honestly feel the tart of the lemons, and sweetness of the meringue with graham crackers would be tasty. This is very tasty, I do not mean to sound like it isn’t. It is one of those pies I think I need to perfect. Third time is the charm, to get that perfect pastry crust, and perfect meringue at the same time. :) 

On the fourth Day of Christmas...

I don’t know what to call it yet, maybe I will call it the Hubby’s Little Smokey Leftovers. Biscuits lay in bottom of dish covered with smokies, and topped with cheese. 

On the third Day of Christmas...

Using the left over little smokies from Thanksgiving Dinner, we had a nice movie snack, Bacon Wrapped Smokies! Yum! Pop in the oven until the bacon is cooked cover with foil if needed.

I made Home made Banana Bread, oh I just love how yummy my home smells when baking this scrumptious bread topped with a sugar crumble. So Yummy!

Neopolitan Birthday Cake

Today is my daughter’s 25th birthday, every year I have a ritual of googling or searching Pinterest for this years cake decorating idea for her birthday. This year the Neopolitan cake video popped up in my feed on Pinterest. I know what you are thinking, “I’m going to search that!”  I will admit to you, mine doesn’t quite look the same. I mean come on, whose Pinterest makes ever do? Lol! 

I seen the pic and said to my self, “Self, I can do that, easy!” Boy, I was wrong. I need practice on the drizzle. I am okay with more chocolate drizzle in my life. :)
